(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook

Lexie Brown Higher 13.5 Points (-115)

Fresh off her highest point total of the season,  Brown gets to face the worst defensive rated team in the league. The 20 points included three baskets from beyond-the-arc, and a perfect five-for-five at the free-throw line.

Indiana is currently allowing the most field goals in the league at 32.6 per game while letting up an average of 92.6 points in five contests.

In the past two games, the Los Angeles guard has attempted 14 shots, averaging 18 points in 35.5 minutes of playing time.

We certainly expect Brown to get shots up early and often in what could be a very high-scoring affair.

Dearica Hamby Higher 16.5 Points (-115)

Hamby is off to one of the hottest starts to the season of any player in the league with averages of 22.0 points on 59.7% shooting, 13.7 rebounds, while getting to the free-throw line 25 times.

With Indiana being so devoid of rim protection and allowing opponents to score an average of 40 points in the paint each game, this looks like a great spot for the Los Angeles forward.

There hasn’t been a contest this season to date where the points fell under 17. It’s looking highly unlikely this would be the case against statistically the easiest team in the league to score on.

Layshia Clarendon Lower 5.5 Assists (-115)

Clarendon’s situation is quite peculiar to say the least. In the first contest of the season, she posted a triple-double. Following that, the minutes have decreased further in each of the last two games.

It’s possible the Sparks prefer the services of their forward, Rickea Jackson, who has seemingly inherited the lost time on the floor.

You certainly couldn’t ask for a better opponent if one was looking to bounce back, though, the issue doesn’t appear to be that simple. In the past two games where Clarendon has played fewer minutes, the Sparks have found success. Including a win at home facing Washington, and a two-point loss on the road against the defending champion Las Vegas Aces.

With so much obscurity surrounding the Los Angeles guard, it’s quite difficult to have any confidence in the higher side of this total.

Caitlin Clark Higher 20.5 Points (-110)

Going into their sixth game, the Fever have yet to make their presence felt in the win column. To their credit, in the past two games, the team battled to the very end- only losing by four and two points.

Indiana desperately needs a win here because tomorrow does not appear to be too favorable of a matchup. The team will be on the road, playing on a back-to-back, and facing the two-time defending champs.

Clark will have every opportunity to score at will tonight against an opponent who is allowing 30.7 field goals made, and 83.0 points per game the to start the season.

The Indiana guard has exceed this total twice in the past three games, knocking down nine three-pointers in the process.

To open the 2024 campaign Los Angeles has accumulated the lowest total of blocks by any team, own the fourth worst defensive rating (102.0), and allow the second most three pointers made per game (9.0).

Aliyah Boston Lower 8.5 Rebounds (-115)

Although the second-year forward hasn’t had the best start to the season, you do not have to look very far to discover the reasoning behind this unlikely turn of everts. In the first five games of the season, Boston has amassed 19 fouls, including 13 over the last three.

Obviously finding a rhythm becomes very difficult when the player is constantly being subbed in-and-out of the game. Though, it’s only the first five games, and the South Carolina National Champion is a fantastic talent who will most likely see more success as the season continue.

As for tonight, we simply feel the total is too high to exceed.

Boston is yet to grab nine rebounds in any contest, and saw her minutes severely cut down in the most recent contest (15). Any type of early foul trouble could result in a repeat of that situation.

The Sparks also possess a ton of length in their front court, currently the fourth best rebounding team in the league per game with 27.7.

Enjoy the game today, and good luck with your picks!
