With more than 12 years’ experience in the region’s online gaming and sports betting industries, serving as COO of Spignol.com and Online Operations Manager at Grupo Boldt, Samel has also gained further experience consulting on sports betting and gaming platforms, as well as marketing for Argentinian businesses, alongside working in Colombia and Peru.
Sportingtech CEO, Ivo Doroteia, commented on the company’s new appointment: “Javier is a great addition to the Sportingtech family, and we are looking forward to combining his expertise with our team’s experience and products. I’m sure his inputs will enrich the collaborative debates during collective decision making processes for LatAm.
“Samel is a respected and senior professional and was the perfect fit to help grow the company’s recently repurposed and rebranded omni-channel Quantum platform, which is currently being certified in a string of markets across the continent.
“He is in a privileged position to utilise his extensive market knowledge to work with existing clients in the region, and develop our Quantum platform in the region, as well as providing a springboard into new business relationships.”
The Quantum platform supplies 65 sports across 1,000 betting markets, alongside a casino experience offering 9,000 games from industry studios. In addition to these services, Quantum hosts third party integrations, a comprehensive content management system and bonus engine for both sports and casino customers.
Samel said: “I’m very excited about the opportunities opening up for a company like Sportingtech with a dynamic platform like Quantum.”
