Meridianbet has signed an agreement with the Football Association of Montenegro (FSCG) that will see it become an official sponsor of the sporting organisation.
The deal will run through until the end of 2024 and see Meridianbet expand its presence in Montenegro – as it also sponsors the First Montenegrin Football League.
The betting company will also support the new development of infrastructure, alongside sports facilities and youth programs.
Dejan Savićević, President of the Football Association of Montenegro, said of the deal: “We are immensely honoured to have the support of Meridianbet, a company with regional and international credibility. We are glad that Meridianbet recognised the mutual benefits of this partnership, which we look forward to taking to even greater heights.”
Meanwhile, former professional footballer, Jovana Klisić, highlighted Meridianbet’s cooperation with FSCG: “The signing of this contract marks a major leap forward, paving the way for a prosperous partnership.
“As a company recognised as a leader in sports betting and gaming throughout southeast Europe, this sponsorship will massively improve the quality of Montenegrin football as well as our reputation for being the region’s top sports sponsor.
“Our goal is to contribute to the growth of Montenegrin football and to build a strong foundation for future successes together.”
The news comes after Meridianbet recently joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative, a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.
