This event is important for the company’s plan of launching its mobile sportsbook platform, Fubo Sportsbook, by the end of 2021.
The soon-to-be-launched platform will ensure a better wagering experience through the “Watching Now” feature, which is an innovative integration of sports wagering live streaming with fuboTV.
President of Fubo Gaming, Scott Butera, commented: “The licence award in Arizona is an important strategic step as we aim to bring our integrated Fubo Sportsbook to the passionate sports fans of Arizona. I’d like to thank our partners at the Ak-Chin Indian Community, who are leaders in the Arizona gaming community, for helping us achieve this milestone today.”
In addition to the new licences in Arizona and Iowa (market access via Casino Queen), Fubo Gaming has initiated market access agreements with Pennsylvania (via The Cordish Companies), Indiana and New Jersey (via Caesars Entertainment Inc.).
Butera added: “With the forthcoming launch of Fubo Sportsbook, we look forward to providing a seamless user experience that allows fans to wager while they watch their favourite sports. We believe Fubo Sportsbook will add another exciting layer to the sports entertainment experience – one that will bring increased interaction and engagement between sports viewing and betting.”
Launched in 2021, Fubo Gaming is a subsidiary of live TV streaming platform fuboTV Inc., which is dedicated to delivering unique and personalised sports entertainment and wagering experience to its users. FuboTV currently operates in the US, Canada and Spain.
