The online market would then open on 1 January 2021, according to René Jansen, KSA Chairman.
Jansen was speaking at the annual Gaming in Holland conference, where he told attendees managing the licensing process will be a priority over the next two years within the context of the Remote Gambling Act.
He added this process will demand a lot of organisation due to the size of the KSA and external staff will be hired if current employees are overloaded.
Encouraging companies to enter the market early, the Chairman invited them to visit the KSA’s website and fill out a form stating their intent to operate online in Holland.
Sweden opened its market to private companies at the start of the year and struggled to meet its launch date of 1 January due to the volume of applications.
It is hoped the online form will ease this kind of pressure for the KSA.
