Furthermore, the company is now the sponsor of Sky Sports News at 10pm in the country. The new campaign follows on a trend in the Emerald Isles, where BetRegal also sponsors Dundalk FC in the Irish Premier League; a deal which sees it donate shirt space to Watch You Back MND, a Motor Neurone Disease organisation from the area.
Speaking after the launch of the new deal, Mike Mirtl, CEO at BetRegal said: “We always want to be partnered with organisations that authentically embody the sporting culture in their market, and this new ad campaign to be aired on Sky Sports, will help us integrate into Ireland’s sports ecosystem and build awareness for our brand.”
“We pride ourselves on fitting in and adding value to the partnerships we take on, no matter which market, and the work we are doing in Ireland reflects those values in action.”
Recently, BetRegal also became the Official Sport Gaming Partner of the Canadian Football League (CFL), signing a multi-year deal – its first major North American sponsorship agreement.
Mirtl said of the agreement: “The Canadian Football League is one of the most iconic brands in all professional sports and we are thrilled to be partnering with a league so rooted in Canadian culture.”
“The evolving regulatory landscape around sports betting in Canada presents an amazing opportunity to enhance the CFL fan experience. As fellow Canadians, we are excited to apply our decades of experience in this sector to help educate Canadian sports fans on the sports gaming experience, with a particular focus on responsible gaming.”
