Quickspin has signed a partnership with Entain as both companies focus on the Spanish markets.

Quickspin, a Swedish slot developer owned by Playtech, creates modern casino content with titles such as Sakura Fortune, Temple of Paw and Spinions.

These will be available on the Spanish-facing platforms from Entain, including partycasino.es, bwin.es and partypoker.es.

Joseph Franklin, Quickspin’s Director of Commercial Operations, commented on the partnership, saying: “Getting this one over the finish line and getting Quickspin live in the Spanish market feels immensely satisfying as it’s a project that has taken a lot of time and effort.

“I am proud to have Entain as our first chosen partner. With Entain’s expertise and strong presence in the market, we are confident in delivering a top-tier, safe gaming experience to our newest players together.”

This comes at a time of major European expansion from Quickspin, with the developer going live with Rank in the UK as well as Snaitech in Italy.

As for Entain, the company recently released its Strategic Review, which was started in January 2024.

The Capital Allocation Committee decided that, to strengthen its geographical presence, it needed to diversify its portfolio and brands.

The ideal outcome of this would be growth in focused markets, which in turn would drive organic revenue.

It’s no surprise that both companies are looking towards the Spanish market to achieve their goals either, as the latest reports indicated an 11% increase in its gross gaming revenue (GGR) for Q1 2024 when compared to the previous quarter.

Not only that, but the €350.7m ($381m) total was a 15% increase year-on-year, according to the reports by the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling (DGOJ).
