Jugadon.bet.ar is the Argentinian operator’s latest offering and will now be available for players in Buenos Aires via GiG’s iGaming platform.
This comes after Lotería de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, or LOTBA, the city’s gambling authority, gave its approval to GiG and Grupo Slots in March after both parties agreed a partnership in November 2020.
Grupo Slots GM Juan Ignacio Torres commented: “We built a great team with GIG, and have developed a solid and safe platform that matches regulators’ specifications as well as Buenos Aires’ market requirements.
“We want to thank our team for their outstanding work over the last months that allowed us to successfully reach this goal.”
The new online casino and sportsbook was built with GiG’s front-end framework and purportedly offers “a smooth online player experience that encompasses a unique look and feel.”
Moreover, this marks GiG’s entry into Argentina amid its plans for expansion in regulated Latin American markets.
“I am excited to have gone live in the city of Buenos Aires with a prominent brand like Grupo Slots,” remarked Richard Brown, GiG’s Chief Exec.
“Buenos Aires is a dynamic market, set to be one of the largest within Argentina, with significant growth potential in the interactive space driven by regulation and growth of a digital online gaming penetration.
“I am extremely proud to be one of the early movers entering this market and look forward to growing our presence within the region.”
GiG and Grupo Slots are among several companies that have recently made landfall in Buenos Aires after receiving authorisation from LOTBA.
Codere Online began operations via its codere.bet.ar domain, while Pragmatic Play also grew its LatAm footprint, bringing several slots titles to players in the city.
