Supplier Continent 8 Technologies, and winner of the Service Provider of the Year category at the Global Gaming Awards EMEA earlier this year, has officially announced its entry into the Brazilian market.

In an effort to cement its standing within the fast-growing Latin American market, Continent 8 is set to go live in its fourth LatAm location – with ongoing operations in Colombia, Peru and Puerto Rico.

Brazil is the hottest topic in LatAm gambling right now, following its announcement of legislation in December, which was followed by additional regulatory framework specifications more recently. Now, suppliers and operators in the country will be able to utlise Continent 8’s digital and cloud infrastructure solutions to enhance their iGaming and Sportsbook offerings.

Continent 8 operates a private internet entitled Gaming Exchange, alongside a Public Cloud which can both be adopted to enhance a company’s cybersecurity.

Speaking on this latest announcement, CEO and Founder of Continent 8 Technologies, Michael Tobin stated: “For more than 25 years, we have been supporting customers as they launch into new and growing markets, and we couldn’t be more excited to be doing this in Brazil.

“This is a market that offers tremendous potential to both operators and suppliers, but they must have the right foundation in place to maxmimise the opportunities on the table. Continent 8 has the experience, expertise, and solutions to help businesses do just that.”

Last Autumn, Continent 8 opened a new data centre site in Curaçao, followed by the appointment of Andrew Mudge as Regional Sales Director in January.
