Operator BetMGM has announced that it is gearing up for the 2023-24 football season with updates to its sports betting app.

Adam Grenblatt, BetMGM CEO, said: “We developed our sports betting platform to offer various ways for sports fans to engage. The next version of the BetMGM app is a step forward in the sports betting experience.”

First, BetMGM is introducing a free Survivor Pool, offering a $100,000 grand prize.

Users can enter once for free, selecting one team per week, with the twist that the chosen team cannot be picked again throughout the season. The last remaining customer(s) will win the jackpot.

For football fans traveling across multiple states during the season, BetMGM will be streamlining the account experience. All login and cash balance details will be smooth within approved markets, except in Nevada, Canada, Puerto Rico and property-restricted apps through regional partners.

The 8-Bit Barry game, featuring BetMGM’s Celebrity Ambassador Barry Sanders, is making a comeback.

Players can choose moves for Barry Sanders to earn various rewards, including parlay boost tokens, odds boost tokens, same-game parlay insurance tokens, bonus bets and more. BetMGM is also introducing Same-Game Parlay+, allowing players to combine different same-game parlays into a single bet for enhanced odds.

As part of its team partnerships, the company is offering exclusive 50% live odds boost tokens for bettors. These in-game wagers must be placed within the respective states of select teams: Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, New York Jets and Tennessee Titans.

Additionally, new BetMGM users can choose from two elevated first bet offers for the season. They can either place up to $1,500 on their first bet, with a refund in bonus bets if they lose or wager $10 on any football game and instantly receive $200 in bonus bets.
