The PGA Tour is co-sanctioning the Genesis Scottish Open for the third consecutive year and some of the best golfers on the planet will try to lift the trophy on Scottish soil.
The event will play on a par-70 course, with 7,237 yards, 220 yards longer than the average 7,017-yard course in stops on the Tour over 2023.
Rory McIlroy will try to successfully defend his title, as he defeated Robert MacIntyre last year. Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg, and Viktor Hovland will be among the favorites among the 156 golfers on the field to emerge victorious at the end of the tournament.
The Genesis Scottish Open winner will get 500 FedEx Cup points and a $1.62 million cut of the $9 million purse.
